Dear Fyers Team,
This is to formally escalate the continuous degradation in user experience caused by recent updates to the Fyers trading application.
Key functionalities that were essential for active trading have been removed without any clear justification, directly impacting efficiency and execution speed.
Removal of “Repeat Order” functionality
This feature was critical for quickly re-placing orders with the same quantity and price after cancellation. Its removal has made the process unnecessarily manual and time-consuming, especially during volatile market conditions.Disruption in Chart-Based Trading Workflow
Previously, users could seamlessly monitor P/L and access order execution windows while analyzing charts. This enabled quick decision-making and order management. This functionality has now been effectively removed, breaking the trading workflow.Removal of Drag/Navigation within Charts
The inability to navigate within the chart panel has significantly worsened usability. Users are now forced to repeatedly switch between the chart and order screens on the mobile app just to place or cancel orders. This is highly inefficient and unacceptable for a trading platform where speed and precision are critical.
These changes indicate a serious lack of consideration for real-time trading needs. Instead of improving the platform, the recent updates have made it more cumbersome and less trader-friendly.
Such regressions in core functionality are not expected from a platform like Fyers and raise concerns about product direction and user focus.
I strongly urge your team to:
Immediately review these changes
Restore the removed functionalities
Provide a clear explanation for these decisions
If not addressed promptly, this will significantly impact user trust and usability of the platform.
