Clarity on limit price

Hi, in the api v3 documentation, it says the limit price by default is 0 but provide a valid price if you are placing a "Limit" or "StopLimit" order.

So, If I want to place a stop order aka (SL-M) order then,

  1. What does this default = 0 mean? Does that mean that no limit price is specified and execute the order at the market price if the stop price is triggered?

  2. OR Does that mean that the limit price for the SL-M order is literally 0 rupees and execute the order at zero rupees if the stop price is triggered?

Please clarify and also please let me know if I am missing anything.
