I purchased 25 qty of X shares for Rs 100/share and made total investment of Rs2500. The company issued 1:1 bonus and I received 25 qty as bonus shares.
Now, instead of changing the average buy price to Rs 50/ share (i.e. Rs2500/50) my investment value is increased by Rs. 2500. In view of this, the qyt is reflecting as 50 and investment is showing as Rs 5000 instead of Rs. 2500.
