I am writing to share a suggestion that could benefit both company and traders like myself, particularly those who engage in scalping strategies.
As a dedicated trader, I have found that the current brokerage structure is quite challenging for scalpers, especially when dealing with smaller quantities. The brokerage fees can eat into profits quickly, making it hard to achieve consistent profitability. For traders like me, the ideal scenario would be to have a zero-brokerage option or a tailored plan that supports high-frequency, low-margin trades, such as scalping.
With that in mind, I would like to propose a plan that could work for both of us:
1. Zero Brokerage for Scalpers: If I square off my position within 5 minutes, I would love to see zero brokerage for trades. This would be ideal for scalping strategies, where speed and low costs are essential to success. (Monthly Subscription Plan)
2. Higher or Double Brokerage After 5 Minutes: After the 5-minute window, if the position is not squared off, you could implement a higher brokerage fee, as this would help balance your business model with the needs of active traders. (Monthly Subscription Plan)
3. Monthly Subscription Plan: I would be happy to consider a monthly subscription plan in the range of ₹700-₹800(lumsum) for zero brokerage on FNO and intraday trades. This could provide both predictability and affordability for active scalping traders.
