Hi Team,
I was recently trying to create a complete NSE Cash Stocks watchlist in Fyers by splitting them across multiple lists. Here’s what I experienced:
I created *5 watchlists with 200 stocks each* (total 1000 stocks).
When I tried to import the 6th watchlist with 200 stocks, I got an error: “Your watchlist could not be saved.”
I noticed I can still create new watchlists, but they only allow me to add *25–27 stocks* and then stop.
It looks like there’s a cap of 5 watchlists × 200 stocks (1000 stocks max).
For analysis, I usually go through NSE Equity watchlists every 5–6 months and would ideally like:
15 watchlists × 200 stocks each → For broader analysis & coverage.
10 watchlists × 100 stocks each → For tracking, filtering, and categorizing (e.g., “Entry Zone” watchlist for stocks ready in 1 week, “Eyes” watchlist for stocks to monitor for 1–2 months, Intraday ideas, Positional, Investment, etc.).
👉 This kind of categorization makes it much easier for active traders and investors to organize scripts based on purpose.
My requests/suggestions:
1. Please remove or increase the cap on number of 200-stock watchlists so we can add more than 1000 stocks in total.
2. Please add a NIFTY F&O Equity auto-updating watchlist — one that updates automatically whenever NSE changes the F&O list. This will save a lot of time for traders who rely on F&O scripts.
Thanks a lot for continuously improving the platform 🙏
