Introducing Commodity Heatmap

If you have used our heatmap for equities, you already know how much easier it makes reading the market. Instead of scanning rows of numbers, you get an immediate sense of where the strength and weakness lie. We have now brought that same level of visual clarity to the commodity markets with Commodity Heatmap.

Why a Heatmap for Commodities?

The commodity market is unique. With trading sessions stretching until 11:55 PM, a lot can happen between the morning open and the late night close. Staring at a static watchlist does not always tell you where the real momentum is shifting right now.

We built the Commodity Heatmap because we heard from many of you that you needed a faster way to spot trends across metals, energy, and agri products.

Every Contract in One View

We have not just included a few top names. All active near month commodity contracts are visible here. Gold, Gold Mini, Gold Petal, Gold Guinea, Silver, Crude Oil, and even indices like MCX Bulldex and MCX Metaldex. If it trades on the exchange, it is on your heatmap.

Better Context with Intraday Timeframes

A commodity might be up for the day but crashing in the last ten minutes. To help you see these shifts, we added intraday timeframes. You can switch between 1 min, 5 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins, 60 mins, and 1 Day. The entire heatmap repaints instantly when you switch. This is a quick way to see if a move just started or if it has been trending all day.

Imagine, it is 8:00 PM. You see Natural Gas is down 1.23% on the daily view, which looks bearish. But when you switch to the 5-minute timeframe, the block turns bright green.

This tells you that while the day has been negative, the price is actually recovering right now. Having that context prevents you from jumping into a short trade at the wrong moment.
