Hi… Index is not tradable, only index futures are tradable. That’s the reason why trading volume and open interest won’t be visible in the index chart.
Please load these indicators in the index futures chart.

There is a mistake in Long Unwinding. where it is written that traders are covering their short positions but it might be Long positions. Pls check and conform

To apply OI indicator to even Cash and Index would have made more sense. Doing analysis, drawings and other comments on Futures’ chart stays for a limited period which is not fruitful and waste of efforts. I remember, Fyers use to give continuous futures charts for a higher time frames but that feature is not available anymore.

Suggestion

  1. Display current Future’s OI on its related cash stock
    2.If above thing is not possible then keep a continues Futures’ chart in Hourly/Daily/Weekly charts.

Thanks for this feature, also want to know that is this oi data available in fyers algo?. can i get this oi data through algo?. earlier when i raised the call 2 months back, i was told that it is not available right now and working on.

If the users are squaring off their short position by buying, it is rightly assumed that the price would go up due to demand from buyers in the market. This is not true in this case since the prices are going down and for the same reason it is generally assumed the users are exiting long position that creates a demand for the sellers in the market, that creates a price correction.
