We’re excited to share that Index Volumes are now live on FYERS Web, Trader & App.

With this update, you can now view and analyze index-level volumes for:

  • Nifty 50
  • Bank Nifty
  • Midcap Nifty
  • Fin Nifty
  • Nifty Next 50
  • Sensex
  • Bankex

The data, available from 1st July 2025, is calculated by summing the volumes of all underlying stocks of the respective Index.

What’s new for you:

Along with the Volume indicator, users can now apply volume-based studies like VWAP, Anchored VWAP, and Volume Profile directly on index charts.

Great news!

Shoutout to the team members for going the extra mile to implement such a complex feature—most developers would have either stayed away or found excuses to avoid it. This truly sets Fyers apart and can be claimed as a unique offering.

It’s when new features are implemented that new ideas begin to emerge. For those willing to go the extra mile, the mind rewards them with even more possibilities. Looking forward to using this in the upcoming session!
