Suppose I bought 6 (buy) quantiles of SBIN at 1050 and 4 (buy) of the same stock at 1055. Now I want to set different stoploss, say at 1000 for 6 quantities and at 1045 for 4 quantities. Also, I want to modify them in future. How I do it using API. Also, after modifying, how do I know that stoploss at 1000 is modified and not the one at 1045. Its not showing in orderbook until executed. Is there a way to get the list of those stoplosses and target?
Hi Pranay,
For an open position, you cannot set individual stop‑loss levels by with different quantity. Instead, place a partial order first; once it executes, create a new order for the remaining quantity. I know this adds extra steps, but with the API you can automate this flow.
