What is one trading mistake you made as a beginner?
Too small quantity of shares, for brokerage and charges were eating up most of profit booked, and increasing the Loss value and thus resulting in Net loss.
We need to consider brokerage + charges as total % thus making sure not too small quantity
For example a share of 500 Rs 1 quantity , Brokerage 20 RS , even if 5% move in stock, profit is 25 RS, but brokerage and charges take away most of it and we get only 5 Rs profit
but if I book just 1% loss i.e 5 Rs loss + 20 RS borkerage, actual loss becomes 30 Rs and hence totally cancels the benifit of RiskToReward ratio
