I have one request regarding backtesting. When I add indicators in Bar Replay mode, it would be very helpful to have a Save button. This would allow the selected indicators to be saved, so I don’t have to add the same indicators every time I start a new backtesting session.
Kindly consider adding a Save Indicators option in Bar Replay mode. It would make the backtesting process much more efficient and user-friendly.
Far from bekar. :). Its mainly for studying charts and practicing… No comments about TV. Pls let us know what features you’d like and we will try to make it happen.
I second this. Very painful to recreate entire setup every time a new instrument is used.
Something like a template for setting custom setup.
Also, can we not be able to select instrument from bar replay window itself, so it becomes a completely self-contained feature instead of selecting it and popping out each time we want to delect a specific instrument?
Yes, Tejas. Currently, entries are executed based on the candle’s closing price. We’re also planning to introduce limit price entries as part of the Bar Replay enhancements.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Totally agree on the need for a custom template, and we’ve noted this. Regarding selecting other instruments in Bar Replay, this functionality is already available; you can use the search box at the top left to switch instruments.
