Today, I used the Smart Exit Alert feature on my Fyers account. I had 4 open positions and set the alert to book profits once the overall P&L reached ₹1000. However, instead of exiting when the total P&L reached ₹1000, it exited all the legs as soon as one of the 4 legs achieved ₹1000 profit.
I believe the Smart Exit Alert is intended to monitor the overall profit across all positions, not individual legs. If that’s not the case, the feature seems less useful for traders holding multiple positions.
Could you please clarify if I am misunderstanding how it works? I look forward to your response.
