I rec'd Notice Board - FYERS this link that simply says Action Required: cmd Field in API to be Deprecated
I would like to hear proper reasoning behind this move.
I have been a long time user, active forum member and have been assisting in API feedback as well.
I use both Data and Order socket streams and APIs since V2, having seen a lot of development too. In a few words, quote API is not streaming and therefore current minute data is very useful, I still use it when Data socket issues arise. Removing it renders quote API as a lame endpoint.
